Goblet
“Pure Elegance of soil material while respecting the roughness of the unrefined soil”
The things we make are rough and dry rather than soft. This indicates the purity of the material
called soil. Also, the rough texture of the fingertips will revive the sense of nature we felt.
This is Artist Jinsun Lee's White Goblet.
Jinsun Lee does not use a spinning wheel, but piles the soil very thin and solidly
with her hands. It's thin, but it's hard and delicate as if it's built on a wall.
The glaze is applied on the inside to prevent tea from getting wet
and create a refined look with dark black radish on the outside.
The white goblet is a thin and light form, and has a beautiful sensibility
and a layer of soil. It is free of temperature because it can hold the stem
under the thin side, which contrasts with the round shape.
The surface that touches the lips is thin, so the tea taste is also good.

ARTIST
Jinsun Lee
Artist Jin-sun Lee uses sophisticated hand molding to shape
the artist's inner shape called "narrow and deep" against pottery.
Make slender objects by yielding the practicality of the bowl to the form.
It reinterprets the stable balance of things and expresses the infinite possibilities of the bowl.
